I have been weaving for approximately 25 years but decided to go “professional” in 2006. I weave predominantly with natural fibers such as cotton, silk, wool, and blends of these fibers. I love to weave complex, loom-controlled patterns whenever possible, though function and visual effect are first considerations for every project.

I live on a remote acreage southwest of Montrose , Colorado , and my studio is on the property. I have 4 looms at the present; 1-16 harness production loom, 1-8 harness floor loom, and two vertical looms. I weave accessories for the home such as placemats, napkins, handtowels, tablecloths, throws, decorative pillows, and bedspreads. Additionally, I weave scarves, shawls, fabrics for purses/satchels, and fabric by the yard. I will weave items and/or yardage on a commission basis.

I am also very proud that in my first year as a “professional” weaver that I won the blue ribbon for fiberarts at the Golden Fine Arts Festival held last August in Golden, Colorado.
